I'm the most unlikely RV'er you will ever meet. I like to have a plan, I like posh hotels, I like clean and organized spaces. I also love my home kitchen and huge bath tub. I like to go to familiar places where I know what to expect and how to get around.
But, RV'ing has always sounded like so much fun and I do love taking adventures with my husband and kids….and dogs. So, a few years ago we rented an RV and hit the road for a very cold weekend in Marble Falls, TX. I searched the internet high and low for pointers for RV newbies, but was still pretty clueless by the time we packed up. (There was NOTHING on Pinterest regarding RVing a few years ago.) It is all a blur now, but I do remember taking our ATV's and it was so cold outside and I stayed in the RV most of the time. But, the boys are still talking about how much fun it was.

Fast forward to us buying our first RV. We bought an Itasca Impulse.
The boys thought the bed over the driver was the coolest thing ever! And, it was actually pretty comfy!
I did the best I could in that little kitchen.
What kid doesn't love bunk beds? I soon added egg crate foam pads to the beds, to make them a little more comfortable.
This is the way to travel!
